This is why we love our job and decided to give you a look behind the scenes of our work.
Usually customers approach us with a blue print or an idea of what his/her wishes and dreams are. With the first meeting we address issues such as purpose, functionality, the range of colors and the budget.
The second step is visiting the location ourselves and taking measurements. We love to develop a feeling for the location. Which lighting is available. What can be seen looking out of the window. How is the environment in which our customer will live in. All these impressions influence our planning.
Next step, we develop a blueprint. The blueprint is developed using a special software. Our furniture design cut-outs are drawn by hand and initially applied ‚loose‘ on the layout. This leaves us with the advantage, that we can move furniture around with our customers. We leave – initially without color –place holders in order to determine which room and why serves best the purpose to be the living room or bedroom. Which size should the bed and closet be? Only then we add color. For example:
After a ‚rough‘ concept has been made, the finer details are to be planned. Which colors and fabrics are useful? How much stress should a sofa cover fabric uphold? Will animals live inside?
Can fabrics experience other stress elements? Maybe due to solar radiation. This is where we pay attention to every detail to ensure customer wishes and to guarantee practicability. This is how our collages will look like:
The last step consist of doing the actual work that will bring about the change our customers desire. If desired by our customers, we coordinate with the needed craftspeople. Painter, carpenter, electrician and much more.
One of our services is also buying the materials needed. We do everything for you from making the bed up to adding accessories to ensure you feel comfortable and welcome.
